Citrix XenApp 6.5 – Lesson 8 – Enabling IMA Encryption

In this video we enable IMA encryption in Citrix XenApp 6.5. Usinf the ctxkeytool.exe we create and load a new farm key on the first XenApp server in the farm. With this in place, as new servers join the farm, before they reboot at the end of the configuration we need to load the encryption key. With this all in place the credentials to the farm database and configuration logging database are encrypted with the key. We have to protect the key. Loss of the key will prevent access to the encrypted data
